Glan Llyn - Room only - nr Mold
Glan Llyn is set in an idyllic rural location nestled into the hills yet just four miles from the village of Mold. We are located in the Clwydian Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. One of only five in the whole of Wales. As the name suggests, this chain of heather-clad hills and limestone cliffs is certainly outstanding. And it’s incomparably beautiful. Excellent walking, cycling and off road horse riding are available on the doorstep. Fishing, paragliding and several 18-holes golf courses are all within a few miles.
The house dates from the late 18th century and has been completely renovated maintaining plenty of ‘olde worlde’ charm with original stone wall, wooden lintels, wood burning stoves while utilising all the latest green technologies for heating, cooking and hot water production.
It is ideal for a peaceful get-away-from-it-all holiday, a family vacation, or an activity break. It has 2 double bedrooms and one twin room with the possibility of an additional bed. All rooms are en-suite and artistically decorated. They also have complimentary tea, coffee, orange juice and a selection of biscuits, bars and cereals. We do not provide a cooked breakfast but you are more than welcome to use our facilities to prepare your own.
